On July 31st Matt got a huge birthday surprise when a whole group of his family and friends surprised him for his 30th birthday. When we were in NJ in May I talked with Salli and Matt's mom about throwing him a surprise party. We now only had a few months to try to plan the theme, the guest list and the menu. It was hard keeping a secret like this, but we all did great! Matt had no idea and was TOTALLY surprised.
We had a great afternoon hanging out with our friends and family from NJ (and my mom and sister who drove in for the occasion). We swam, ate great food, the kids took a swing at a tractor pinata and Matt blew out the candles on his John Deere cake. All in all it was a wonderful party!!!
Happy Birthday, Matt!! We love you!!!
