Well, we now only have one child in diapers! Logan's first day of potty training was Monday August 31st. We had gone to Walmart the day before and bought a little potty, a stool, he chose another package of "Big Boys"(underwear), and got to choose his reward, which were flavored "smarshmallows" as he calls them...we did have to add Hershey kisses as an extra reward. He was so excited that he had to test everything out the night before.
He really is doing GREAT! On his first day he had nine accidents, but did go several time on the potty. We were really proud of him. Every day has been better. On day two he had five accidents, day three he had two and day four only one! He is really doing well and gets so proud of himself when he goes on the potty. He also could not be any cuter in his "Big Boys."
He thought that sitting on the potty was so much fun at first. On the first few days we set a timer and sat him on there every 30 mins. He is getting a lot better at holding it and now does not really want to sit on the potty much unless he definitely has to go. When we ask him to sit on the potty he is very polite and says, "No thank you!" if he does not have to go. It is really funny. Here are a few other funny things he has said: "This is my potty train." ~ pointing to his stool
"Look at all the water." ~ after an accident on the floor
