You are 8 months old this month! You continue to have such a sweet personality and smile at everyone who looks at you. Your brother is still your best friend and you laugh at him every time you see him. He is really able to keep you entertained by doing just about anything. You continue to sleep through the night, which is wonderful. However, you are napping very inconsistently. Sometimes you nap for 20 mins while other times you sleep for 1.5 hours. You do usually take shorter naps though. Mommy still rocks you to sleep during naptime because when we let you try to put yourself to sleep you cry for hours. You are eating all different kinds of stage 2 baby foods and seem to like everything that we give you. We tried a jar of stage 3 food and you are still not ready for it yet. You do like biter biscuits and can gum the little pieces if they fall off in your mouth. You blow raspberries all the time and are really babbling, especially when you are upset. You still always want to be with Mommy and I cherish all of the time that I get to hold you. It won't be long before you won't want me to hold you anymore.
Emily is such a sweetheart! It was so nice to be able to see all of you last weekend and to hold Emily for a while. Thanks. We love you all! She's adorable.
ReplyDeleteHow sweet you are, Emily. I remember that time with my kids too, Erin, thinking, soon they will be too big to hold. It goes really fast, enjoy your time with them no matter how old they are. Kids are precious!
