This summer we decided to take a trip with my extended family to Nashville, TN in order to celebrate my Nana's 80th birthday. We had a great time! We rented a huge log cabin in Nashville that gave all of the families a room to stay in.
We had 13 adults and 13 kids on this trip. My Aunt Terry and Uncle Jeff came from Mississippi, cousin Heather and her husband from Texas, cousin Jen and her family from Indiana, cousin Tim and his family from Texas, and then our family, Kelley, Mom, and Nana from Pennsylvania. We had plenty of room to spread out.
This is the entrance to the 16 acre estate.

We swam almost every day. It was between 90 and 105 degrees every day.

Look at that chub! :)

Some of us decided to walk around downtown Nashville one afternoon to see the sights. It was so hot that our first stop was to get some ice cream.

Had to try on a cowboy hat!

We also visited the Opryland Hotel. This was a botanical garden inside the hotel.

We played basket ball in the backyard.

The kids lined up for a water balloon fight.

Logan loved playing with the light sabers.

The only picture we could get on Father's Day. We went out for pizza after church to celebrate.
